Pricing and packages
Three plan types, one free 1-hour assessment that helps you pick the right one. Most families start with the assessment, then choose between an hourly package, a monthly subscription, or a summer camp block. Specific rates are shared during the assessment so we can match the plan to your child.
Hourly packages
Pay-as-you-go
Best for
Families who want flexibility, a focused stretch of work, or a way to try Newton's without a longer commitment.
Hourly packages come in 10-hour and 20-hour bundles. Use the hours week by week, in small-group sessions (maximum 4-5 students) or 1-on-1, on the subjects your child needs. There is no monthly minimum and no long-term commitment. Schedule the sessions when they fit your family's week.
What is included
- 10-hour or 20-hour bundle
- Small group (max 4-5 students) or 1-on-1, your choice
- Subject selection (math, science, English, French, reading, coding, public speaking, test prep)
- Flexible scheduling across our weekday and Saturday hours
- All standard inclusions
Rates: Contact us for current rates. We share the per-hour pricing during the free assessment so we can match the package to your child's plan.
Monthly subscription
Most popular
Best for
Regular students who want steady momentum, predictable scheduling, and the deepest support package we offer.
The monthly subscription is the plan most Newton's families settle into after their first few sessions. Pick a cadence (2x, 3x, or 5x sessions per week), cover all subjects under one plan, and get the kind of structure that turns weekly tutoring into measurable progress.
What is included
- Choose 2x, 3x, or 5x sessions per week
- All subjects covered under one plan
- Personalized learning plan
- Monthly progress reports
- One free make-up session per month
- Priority scheduling
- Small group (max 4-5 students) or 1-on-1
- All standard inclusions
Rates: Contact us for current rates. The free 1-hour assessment is the right place to discuss the right cadence and price for your child.
Summer camp 2026

- All standard inclusions

What every plan includes
Every Newton's plan, hourly, monthly, or summer, comes with the same core inclusions:
- Personalized assessment to set the starting point
- Custom learning plan tailored to your child
- Progress tracking shared with you
- Ontario curriculum alignment across all subjects
- Experienced tutors (masters-level degrees, 40-plus combined years)
- Maximum 4 to 5 students per small-group session, with each student following their own learning plan
- 1-on-1 also available
This is the part that does not change between plans. The plan you choose decides the cadence and the format. The standards stay the same.
Pricing FAQs
Why don't you list specific dollar amounts here?
We share rates during the free 1-hour assessment so we can match pricing to the right plan for your child. Different cadences, formats, and subject mixes carry different rates, and the assessment is a quicker way to land on the right number than a long table on a webpage.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, e-transfer, and cheque. Payment plans are available on request.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes, with 7 days notice. Many families start hourly, see how their child responds, and move to monthly. Some go the other way around. We adjust the billing accordingly.
Is there a registration fee?
No. There is no registration fee for any plan, and there is no fee to book the free assessment.
What is your cancellation policy?
For monthly subscriptions, we ask for 30 days notice. For make-up sessions, the notice window is 24 hours.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Within 14 days, if you are not satisfied with the program, we will refund unused time. Unused hourly packages are refundable within 14 days of purchase.
