What happens
You bring your child to our Lormel Gate centre. We chat with you about goals and recent schoolwork, then spend time one on one with your child to see how they think and where they want support.
How long it takes
One hour, start to finish. Most families are in and out in under ninety minutes including the wrap-up conversation.
What you walk away with
A written learning plan tailored to your child's grade, subjects, and pace. Clear next steps, whether you choose to start sessions with us or work the plan on your own.

Is the assessment really free?
Yes. Your first one-hour visit is on us. No card, no commitment. The goal is to meet your child, understand where they are, and share a clear plan you can act on with or without us.
How long does the assessment take?
Plan for one hour at our Lormel Gate centre. That gives us time to chat with you, work with your child one on one, and walk through the suggested learning plan together.
What grade levels do you cover?
JK through Grade 12, plus university prep. Our tutors work across math, science, English, French, coding, reading, public speaking, and test prep.
Do I need to bring anything?
A recent report card or any current schoolwork helps, but it is not required. If your child has a specific test, project, or curriculum unit in mind, bring that along too.
What happens after the assessment?
You leave with a written learning plan tailored to your child. If Newton's is the right fit, we will share session options. If not, you still walk away with a plan you can use.
